RAce Rules & FAQ

Read below to find out more about how the race rules and regulations work for all events. There is also FAQ to view to answer any additional questions about our processes. If you have a query oitside what is below, contact us here.

RAce Rules

All participants are bound to the race rules and regulations stated below. This information will be included in all registrations to ensure adherance to the below.

Registration

Upon registering and purchasing a ticket for an event, all processes must be complete in order to be in compliance with registration. This includes digital acceptance of the following documents: Race Rules & Regulations, Liability Waiver and Terms & Conditions - these will be issued after payment for the event is completed (welcome email).

WebScorer (GPS tracking)

WebScorer is a GPS based event tracking software used for all registered events and is required by all participants after registration (this will be included in welcome email). There is no 3rd party use of information shared between RACEPRIZE and WebScorer. This software can be used on any mobile device and is required during the event time frame. Failure to use will result in disqualification and no refunds will be issued.

Integrity

With each event having its own designated type (run/bike/car), it is imperative that this rule be followed by all participants. Example: if you have registered for a run only event, the use of car/bike/scooter/motorcycle is prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and no refund will be issued.

Day of Event

Day of event arrival time should be 1-2 hours before designated start time to anticipate time for check-in, race review, rules validation and participant understanding. We ask that all participants arrive on time to avoid delay. ONLY checked-in participants will receive the starting GPS coordinates for the prize to avoid non-checked in participants being closer or off-site, which in turn could lead to them being closer to the prize location.

During Event

Again, during event you must have your Webscorer app active (allowing precise location sharing) at all times, plus you must only use the event mode type for the race (run/bike/car). There is no time limit or a specific path you take to the prize location, as this is what makes it exciting. RACEPRIZE is not liable to the path you take and at what speed you take to get there, but we ask that all be safe in their decisions during the race. RACEPRIZE is not liable for trespassing, exceeding speed limits or any form of breaking the law.

End Point (Finish)

You made it here first......but it is important that we act with fairness and respect of others. If you are in a situation where there are 2 or more of you battling to the prize, we must not act in anger or retaliation toward the winner. Remember, this is all about fun and having a good time through the competition. Participants will not assault or put hands on others in order to get the prize for themselves. RACEPRIZE reserves the right to disqualify, ban or in the event seek local authorities for any action committed by a participant. Just have fun and be respectful!
